While Imran Khan enrolled in Keble College, Oxford where he studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics, graduating with honours in 1975. Which is the most prestigious institute in the world. Imran Khan is a graduate while trump is not. I'm an Indian. But I say, this comparison is not correct. Imran struggled 20 yrs as politician to reach this level. Let him rule for few years before comparing to anyone. for it to be humour, either it has to work as a hyperbole or it should have an unexpected twist which appeals. i'm not pakistani but even i know that the comparison is preposterous for it to work as humour. it's no one's case that Trevor was trying to make an insightful comment on pakistani politics, but the half-assed attempt to palm off the comparison as funny, is quite lame. the lazy attempt at humour is something that we can do for anyone - we can repeat this even for bill clinton and it would pretty much work. Trveor's writers research is that bad and inaccurate. but since, it made you laugh - happy for you.

Not really. Never liked the smug superiority of the talk show hosts in the US. They might as well replace all of them with a statement which reads something like 'Trump bad, Trump really bad' because they have nothing useful and substantive to say when it comes to policy. The US media's reaction to Imran Khan's victory is more confusing than anything. On the one hand, they don't like someone who is an extremist but they also don't like a welfarist who wants less US intervention and seeks to improve the living conditions of the most downtrodden & disenfranchised in his country.

It doesn't do Noah any favours to be seen condensing facts to make them fit his own political narrative to an adoring audience.
