They have to cross different level of elimination. Kids from across the US compete ,very prestigious one for then. Gokul, one of the winner is my friend's son. In Most of these competitions on language, Math, geography r dominated by Indians and Chinese ethic background children. These ppl highly competitive. I guess it is a cultural thing!

I live in the States. Most kids of Indian origin are pretty good in spelling . I really don’t know why.. Maybe the parents push them a little more than other American parents..
