Traditionally there are two types of modak Ganpati bappa loves Modak😊Moda means Happiness 1)Ukadiche modak❤(steamed) 2) Talaniche modak(deep fried) Both tastes awesome Ukadiche modak have one day shelf life (agar bache rahe to varna khatam hi ho jate hai😄) Talaniche modak could be stored for a week. (Again bache rahe to😄) Ukadiche modak should be eaten hot adding ghee..they taste divine ❤❤ Moda means Anand,happiness.. Chef made Sejal happy gave her Moda😊 Skill is making Kaliya of outer coverings in both types.. Marathi cuisine is always simple ,healthy,needs less ingredients.But sweets like modak and puran poli(sweet roti made up of chana dal,sugar and gud) need high skills. Maharashtrian food must be promoted world wide
