Talking about "Standing up for National Anthem" - In many Indian theaters, they have started playing National anthem right before the movie starts. Kenny was particularly talking about this situation and not anything else (Nationalism). In a theater - watching a movie - national anthem. People are very strict about standing up during this - so much so using violence to make sure people stand up, which is so unfair.

Dude The Bengal Sati Regulation which banned the Sati practice in India was passed on December 4, 1829 ,so Almost 190 years Kindly enlighten us is that Halala and triple talak is banned in Pakistan , because present Indian government has banned triple talak last year by making a law against it and declaring a punishable offense ,but yes law against Halala is yet to be made , I guess we all aware that this Halala practice is such grave offense against a woman

Actually, Bourbon is a British biscuit and the name Bourbon originates from the French. The Bourbon you'r referring to is the American alcohol which was invented in Bourbon County. That's like me not understanding why someone would drink Burgundy. Not the hair colour, but the wine. I never knew there was a wine called Burgundy and that it was actually a place in France and the colour came from that.

This is going to sound a little sketchy but the truth is that Sati was mostly practiced only by the brahmin society of Bihar and Bengal... so unless your ancestors were from those regions probably even they never practiced it... and the practice was ended during the british period itself... That is how propaganda works... you take something relevant to a small group of people and make a stereotype for the whole community... similar to how it is propagandized that all Muslims practice female child circumcision while in reality it is only a few African Muslim communities who do it!

It's also true that comedy is easiest way to influence people politically, when audience have their guard down. case in point , almost all late night shows and comedy TV shows in USA kept selling hillary as their next messiah for over a year and they almost won. In india it is the same case with groups like AIB, EIC and majority of the stand up comedians who do a lot of political commentary in the name of comedy. Only a few groups like TVF and filtercopy who still are politically neutral.
