1857 first war of independence was fought,.it was started by Mangal Pandey and this fight happened in various parts of India as well(old India which included Pakistan nd Bangladesh), most kings were supposed to unite and fight and throw brits out,.somehow it didn't happen and many individual wars were fought. Many kings supported brits, many kept quiet this lack of unity lead to our defeat. Yes I have confirmed this history is taught in Pakistan as well.

Laxmi Bai the great queen of Jhansi. Her childhood name was Manikaranika. She was Hero of India's 1st war for freedom against East India Coy. This war is known as the 1st revolution of 1857. Both Hindu and Muslims became united to fight against atrocities of East India company. Mangal Pandey, Tatya Tope , Nana Saheb, Manikaranika @ Laxmi Bai , the Queen of Jhansi , Rao Tula Ram, Kuwar Singh , Sayed.Badrudin and Muslims of Mewat fought bravely. The huge number of Hindues and Muslims fought against British. Maharani Laxmi Bai was the great fighter. She defeated the British in several battles. The whole country was united against British.The British were about to surrender but Sindhiya, the king of Gwalior took side of British. He provided the British with his army and arms/ammunition. The brave queen Manikaranika known as " Jhansi ki Rani Laxmi Bai" having her son on her backside fought till her last breathe and killed many British soldiers with her sword. The Indians had local weapon like sword. On the other hand the British army had Guns, Tops and modern arms/weapons at last she sacrificed her life for the sake of "Bharatmata " . The British Cammander namely "Sir Hue Roze" regarded " Laxmi Bai the bravest fighter of her time. He also said, " If Sindhiya had not supported British, India would have got freedom in 1857 the 90 years before 1947.

1857 me hui thi ladai, us time Delhi me aakhri mughal badshah the bahadur shah Zafar, aur jhansi me riyasat me laxmi bai thi, us time pe angrej sare chote riyasato ko hadapna chahte the, 1857 ki ladai ko azadi ki pehli ladai kaha jata h.. Iske almost 100 sal tk struggle krne ke bad 1947 me azadi mili bt sad thing is india Pakistan partition kra k hi angrejo ne country chodi... I hope I contributed sm more knowledge.. 😊
