I visited Umed Bhawan in Feb'19 and it's very wonderful palace to see closely. Delightful indeed. Every place is worth seeing

Fun fact the commercialization of all these property saved them from deteriorating soon after the independence as everything was centralized by goverment and many royal families didn't have the needed financial support for the maintenance of such huge palaces and the most profitable deal to them was given by TATA Group which helped them a lot with greater respect to their behest as well as equal share in partnership.

Raddison group is indian owned in uk tatas have 2 iconic hotels in london .there are many palaces like this the lake palace is beautiful .bhawalpur palace the pakistanis praise is like a ordinary haveli in india .patiala palace is also grand as is mysore palace .there are so many .
