'Ambubaasi' mela is Assamese spiritual festival..."Ambu" means 'paani' & "Basi" means 'baasi chizon ko saaf rakhna or karna'....Matlab, usdin pura ghar ko bahar-aandar se puri tarah se saaf rakhne ki tradition hai... As Assamese folklore, 'Ambubaasi'..ke din aradhya devi lord Shiva's wife Parvaati's first human version 'Saati's menstrual period hote hai..islie 3 din tak female bhagwan ko kapde se dhak diya jata hai...aur mandir puri tarah se specially khub dhum-dham se saaf karte hai...& common log bhi apne apne gharon ko, angan ko sabkuch saaf karte hai... Aur yeh kisi festival se kam nehi hai 😂😍
