I am a Naga, the pictorial/video representations are not entirely true. A lot of landscapes and people/cultural attires doesn't represent Nagas/ or Nagaland. Yes a lot of it is what Naga represents, its just a caveat I wanted to put forth for the viewers. In addition to the present Indian state of Nagaland, Nagas are in Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam within Indian and half of Nagas are in Myanmar. Thanks to colonialism by the Britishers and the arbitrary division of borders by the Indian government.

Hello. I am a naga, just want to clarify about the videos. We nagas in the past were called the head hunters but we don't eat humans. After the Christianity came we even stop head hunting. And about the language, out here in nagaland we speak nagamese, English,hindi. About that 'Ao', it is not the common language spoken out here but it belongs to specific tribe, its their dialect. And yah please to visit the hornbill festival which is celebrated in the month of dec from 1-10. You guys would not want to leave after attending this festival😊. Thank you kuknalim

HELLO.. Iam from Nagaland,before the arrival of Christianity we nagas used to practice animism. And yes head hunting was common in our area way back in 19th century. But after the arrival of British Christian missionaries in 1839 to the Nagas ( nagas are found in Arunachal, Manipur, Myanmar and few Eastern states of india ). And in 1872 at present Nagaland in a village called Molungkimong. Slowly and gradually we found Christ and became more obsessed in worshiping our living God while also fading our head hunting practices for good. Today Nagaland is known for one of the safest place in world for Women. Women are given equally importance in the society, they are well respected and infact doing much better than men. Today 99% of Nagas are Christian, and we do not practice any immoral practices like our ancestors. Nagaland is also known as Switzerland of East. We have 16 official tribes and each tribe has their own respective festival and language. But our official language is English,and yes we can speak hindi too. My dear brother and sisters, if you ever visit Nagaland in near future, we welcome you with open arms. And to your disappointment this video talking about Nagas eating human flash is not true ( just a rumour). 😂 Thankyou.

That kind of thing happened 100 years back but these days you will not see those kinds of experience and one thing you forgot to add that Nagaland was given freedom and it was declared on 14 August 1947 so the Indian government has undertaken the territory because we don't have any natural resources and due to lack of very poor education and we were included on the Map and by forcely we were made indian, Exactly you have heard correctly we the Nagas very unique comparing to the Indian because we have a 16 tribe and each tribe have different different languages cultures, dialogue, traditional and even lifestyles so we are very unique comparing to the Indian mainlanders and we are still fighting with the Indian government to give us a freedom since 1954.

Our local language is our mother tongue because in Nagaland, we have different tribes and languages. Not only Nagas, but Muslims and Hindus also communicate. We mostly speak English and Nagamese, and lastly Hindi. We Nagas people don’t eat human. People in India are crazy about fake news, lol. But the truth is when it comes to food, everyone has different tastes. We are all humans, and we are the same. What I eat, others may not like, and what they eat, I may not like. It's like that. Don't believe in social media or what people say. As a Naga, I'm not Prashant, but yes, in India, Nagaland is a beautiful place. People like us don’t judge or compare; we love everyone, every religion. That's why most people from outside come to stay in Nagaland, but people don't announce it.

In nagaland we don't speak AO dialect mostly 😂😂. Obviously AO tribe speak along with some specific individual 😂.. In Nagaland we have 17 well recognised tribes with some unrecognised tribes 😂.. And we all speak our own dialects alike SÜMI, PHOM,KONYAK,LOTHA,AO,CHANG,and so on but In common we speak either English or nagamese . And yuh we don't molest womens. Once we got rejected we never show our face again out of shy 😂😂 , anyway thanks for reacting. Lots of love from Nagaland 😊
