That first bag with the hard sides it's perfect cartrip bag ever created. I have a smaller cheap Amazon version of that I bought to test the idea out last year because I was so tired of bags exploding in the car and then just having nowhere to put all of the stuff to try to get it into a hotel room. The concept totally works as a giant bag that can either sit in an extra seat or in the trunk and then shove all of the little bits from the car into the bag get it where it's going and you've got it. Seriously going to be thinking about buying that one. I also really like that small 25l duffle the way that you were saying they designed for it to be used because a lot of cars do not have places for kids to put all their junk without it being at their feet and having a growing boy myself I understand the sacrifice that is asking a child to make. My son still in a booster seat right now but every year his foot well has a little less space for me to put stuff. If we get a van, that big gap between the middle seats is just asking for crap to get lost rolling around in the oblivion of the back row. Solves so many road trip issues...

Very interested in the sling!! Does anyone happen to know how long the strap is when fully extended? As a bigger guy, I need to make sure it'll fit and not look bad

With slings, unless very light, you will have to swap shoulders and so need to be able to carry left or right handed. If the swap and fixings are not symmetrical it needs to be swapped over. Mixing a "portrait" carry with "landscape" zipper openings needs to hold the contents in place or they get thrown around as it will be carried side ways or even side ways upside down.

Can you easily access your laptop in the 55 backpack out of the laptop pocket as easily as you can in the smaller version? So without opening the backpack in the two pockets?

Which would you pick? The Pakt 55L duffel or the Peak design 65L? Or what would you recommend? I'm looking to do some more long term travel soon. Go to alot of different places, so needing to be on the move alot but would need a bit of clothing. 35L bags seem too small. Wanting a big enough duffel to go with my backpack.

Great looking bags. But at the international shipping fees that they have gotten... just no. That's just not viable as a customer and while there are people who may be willing to pay them, they'd probably be better off just not offering anything to international customers. It'd do their reputation better.
