This car doesn't make sense coz it has Ternary Lithium battery which has 800 Life Cycles after which it's battery degrade to just 60%. It means even if you charge once every 3 days, after 6 years it will be worthless. They should've used Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) which has at least 2500 Cycles after which it degrades to 80% (still usable) which means it would have been good enough for 15 years easily. Interestingly Honri Ve 3.0 which is higher variant of this car with 30KWH battery and 300 Km range has Lithium Iron Phosphate battery but that car costs 50 Lakh. - Rinco Aria (Volt) has Lithium Iron Phosphate battery 👍 - Gigi has Lithium Iron Phosphate battery 👍 - Seres 3 has Lithium Iron Phosphate battery 👍

As living in urban area ,i definitely buys this for 2 reasons *(if they increases the ground clearance) ,daily commute is around 90km in karachi city ,saves me money on oil change and other every other day mechanical issues of gasoline cars (on avg a karachite spends 30 k a year on mechanic on a alto )

If it was around 300 km range, especially since you shouldn't charge to 100%, the usable range would be around 220-240 km which isn't horrible for home to work and back home commutes. Charge time should be around 3-4 hours. Sun rises in the morning around 5 am. That's when solar will start working. By the time you're ready to go to office (8pm), it would have charged for 3 hrs and be ready for the day.

Bhai solar doesn't work at 5 am in the morning. If you have 10 kw system, it might produce hardly 1 kw power. Solar works best from 11 to 3:40

Battery replacements cost a lot of money. A very optimistic estimate would be around 10-15 lac rupees. If you drove 20 kilometers everyday for 10 years and then had to replace the battery, your total savings will be around 7 lac, which is still not enough to cover the replacement costs.

Vehicle batteries, if they're of good quality, tend to last more than a decade. If you had to replace the battery, in my terrible estimate I think it would be around 10-15 lac rupees. Let's say you drove this car for 10 years and now the battery needs replacement. Your savings from switching from petrol to electric would be around 200 rupees per day if you drove 20 kilometers everyday. Hence your savings in a 10 year period would be around 7 lac rupees which apparently not enough to cover the battery replacement cost. I think the main reason for buying this vehicle would not just be saving money on fuel but also cutting your gas emissions, reducing noise pollution and most importantly having the convenience of charging at home.

If you drove only 20 Km per day, even low quality ternary battery will last more than 20 years coz of very low depth of charge. Real convenience of electric car is smooth yet fun driving, fast acceleration, absolutely zero cost for solar powered house which enables the owner to drive as much as they want without having to worry about fuel cost. Wise decision would be to buy Lithium Iron Phosphate battery car so you don't even have to worry about battery degradation while enjoying all the benefits of EV
