We Pakistanis measure car boot space in a different measuring unit. The measure of unit we use is SUNEEL .The car can be 1 suneel 2 suneels , this ORA is Half suneel.

we have these in the UK although not many of them around. This car and the value it stands at is a great proposition. For Pakistan due to less competition, this car should take off, not sure how many people will be able to approach this vehicle due to it being an EV; however, the amount of sunlight and solar panels I have seen in Lahore... it just makes sense to have more EVs in Pakistan. They should make a hybrid model of this too

This car would fail at 1 Crore price point. At this price segment Pakistani want large SUV not a cutie Ora Cat. GWM Haval H6 mild hybrid is a big hit at 1.3 Crores, 3rd best selling car in January which says a lot. GWM is launching Tank 500 next year which will touch 2 Crore but being a large Ladder Frame SUV, it will sell well!!

This is actually supposed to be a C-Segment compact hatchback, equivalent to Corolla Hatchback or Civic Hatchback, but on the smaller side of it. It is overall bigger than Swift (except its boot space is smaller). Considering that, 8.9 million is not that bad specially when it's an EV with 400km of range. If this comes as an official car in Pakistan, then it would be a new segment introduced.

Your right, GWM still doesn't understand our market tastes and preferences. Haval is a big bit, this will not be. Tank 500 next year will be. I do think Seres 3 is better than Corolla Cross being a Pure EV crossover or same size but suffers from bad dfsk reputation....

HAVAL Jolion Hybrid beats Corolla Cross, hands down !!! Same price tag....As for EVs mane concern is mileage in single charge. That should be kept in mind while pricing. Availability of charging stations is also directly proportional. So for time being probably, Hybrid vehicles are best option and no doubt, Toyota has best hybrid engines, that is where Cross competes with jolion, even beats it (availability of parts, re sale etc). However as just hybrid crossover to crossover, Jolion is way better then Cross.

unfortunately 9 million is just too high for Pakistan market especially for a small vehicle. Now if it was size of corolla than 9 million would be acceptable. Real world range of 500km. Otherwise you are wasting time bringing this . very limited sales

Wesay a point came in mind in terms of electricity expenses. If you visit your relative like in Lahore/Islamabad and plug your electric car there for charging, it will consume about 50 units of your relatives which now a days cost too much keeping in mind the per unit cost and government taxes. Don't buy sell it for me service from pakwheels ,I have applied for it and paid in advance as by their rule and the rider didn't approach on time at my location and they have rescheduled it and are asking for money like that was my mistake and all the money I have given till now is non-refundable. Electric cars have lot of downsides. If someone lives on rent & doesn't have porch, then charging would always be an issue. Additionally 4-6 hrs for charging or even 2-3 hrs for half charging is an ample time especially if I had to go outside in emergency. Also though as per Sazgar owner, there is a charging station at Bhera but as per his feedback, it takes 40-45 minutes for 80% charging. One can imagine significantly high charging time & especially if there are already some cars in queue. Additionally, we have some high maintenance cost as well, especially when battery replacement would be due, a valid question here was asking the battery life & cost. Finally, if we go through budget, 8.9 million is quite on higher side. Living within this budget & taking in account other mentioned limitations as well, I think going for an hybrid variant like aqua is a much better option.

Excellent video. Nice information. But for entry level car and hatch back 8.9 million is too much over priced. In 9 million budget there are lot options. In my opinion pure electrical car is not that practical. We can fill a gas tank in less than 10 mins. For EV car it takes 30 mins to charge 80%. Which just time waste and fast chargers are not available every where. Petrol and diesel are available any where in cities and remote places. For daily commute in city only it's not worth it.
