Unfortunately I believe owner did not know quite a few things, or missed to mention, he missed the tiptronic gear shifting in the gear, auto sensing tailgate, digital cruise reading on speedometer, digital meter along with analog speed, auto door unlock feature at park or engine off, 18 inch alloy wheels, even spare wheel is 18inch alloy. All these features were missed out by the owner, who did mention it his father's car...:)

@@shanmumtaz5884 majority of us who decided to buy a particular vehicle would have ideally a positive view about their vehicle, it is the knowledge part that was missing, there are so many features that he missed in the review. Just to name a few (tiptronic, electronic tailgate, auto sensing tailgate, digital speedometer, digital cruise control, eco and sport mode, downhill assist control, Difflocking (power distribution 50-50 in AWD) so many featurs missed and still professional approach??

I'm using this KIA SPORTAGE in Mercury Blue colour. Believe me it's dream come true and i have switched from Honda Civic 2019 which was nothing but a fancy look with engine only vehicle.KIA has done a remarkable contribution in Pakistan when it comes to delivery and service. Being an owner of this model, I confess that this car is right decision and value for my money. This owner was way too honest and highly informed which is a great thing. Excellent review. Since I also have a sportage, may I add that I have kept all four vehicles (Grande, Turbo Civic, Revo and Fortuner Sigma 4) In build quality suspension drive and handling sportage is superior to all four, small things like having a digital reading for your cruise in of utility on the speedometer. There is no comparison of Fortuner now with phonemaly crazy price point that it is at almost 9.2 mil on road price. If you do not need to show off this vehicle drive is far superior than fortuner. One thing the owner missed is, it does have tiptronic gear shift but no paddle shifters. And my personal experience is that gear shifting is far smoother than a Civic x or Grande. Good Job Sunil Bhai as usual in being meticulous. One more addition is that since I started driving on Eco mode (it does have eco normal and sport mode) I am getting around 11 to 12 km in city and 13 to 15 on motorway. Moreover 18 inch alloy wheels that neither grande or civic have plus spare wheel also is 18inch alloy as well and not money saved on a normal steel rim like in other two. Plus electronic sensing tail gate (you stand with grocery in your hands the tail gate opens automatically sensing presence and you neither have touch the key or the tailgate button). The only tiny little thing that I miss versus fortuner is the auto door lock feature as speed goes 15+. Fortuner Sigma4 is amazingly capable offroader, but hard as a nail, and 99% ppl don't take it offroad so no point keeping an offroad vehicle if you don't offroad. Overall great review, just a small suggestion review ppl who use it as a daily runner personal car, not someone whose father owns it bcs his experience is limited compared to the real owner. Thanks and keep up the great job Pakwheels!! Keep rocking, truly the best Auto website there is in Pakistan.

As a driving instructor I can clearly see the driver has a very good driving style, push and pull steering, holding at 2 and 10 o clock and clearly effective mirror checks. Best comment when he mentioned every car has a blind spot... please watch him for his driving skills

Regarding Headlight Condensation This is because modern headlight housings aren't sealed airtight. Ventilation passages are built into the headlight housing to let moisture in and out. The purpose of these vents are to allow pressure and/or temperature differences between the inside and outside of the housing to more or less equalize so they won't lead to the bulb and/or the housing itself from developing fissures and malfunctioning. They are NOT sealed headlights, if they were, you couldn't replace your lights. The old sealed headlights were water tight and you had to replace the whole unit. When there is a variance in temperature between the outside and the inside of the headlight housing such that the external temperature is lower than the interior of the housing, precipitation will usually occur inside. Once the external temperature rises, the precipitation will evaporate and your headlamps will clear up. Now, if it progresses beyond condensation and you find that water accumulates inside your headlamps making it resemble a little aquarium, then that's the time to check the gaskets or if any fissures have developed in your headlight housing that's letting water in.

Rear turn lights are mounted too low (mounted in the bumper and thus risk of damaging them more often too). In America they are mounted up at breaking lights on Kia sportage models. I think Low mounted rear turn lights could be a safety hazard because they may not be that visible especially to big trucks and buses coming behind.

Vitara is a globally respected car that is built to last! Its features are still way more then Sportage....The biggest turndown for Sportage is Ground clearance and lack of Pedal Shifters and Cruise control. I own a Vitara and have taken it to extreme, so far hasn't disappointed me anywhere rather at times its offload capabilities are as good as a proper jeep. The best thing for Vitara is its excellent fuel consumption. So overall Vitara is a complete package.

Well before even watching the review, I can say that this car is a hit amongst Pakistani boys. As the number of cars I have seen on roads is phenomenal and also surpasses fortuner and vezel in number. Mainly due to two reasons. 1. Its porsche style headlamps and tail lamps. 2. Great price point.

Apple CarPlay works when your iPhone is not connected via Bluetooth so in order to use CarPlay ( based on Kia sportage Pakistani variant experience) you have to either disconnect Bluetooth or forget Bluetooth which again is the last option. Mine has been working perfectly just by disconnecting the Bluetooth and my AppStore and other Apple services are set to Pakistan. Hopefully this post will help many people as well as this gentleman’s father to use CarPlay.

I will go for Vezel of course as it more economical and has macphearson both front and rear brakes whereas kia has common drum brakes in the rear.It takes 8 litres of oil that increases overheads.

For a price point of 92 lakh (on road price) it is a crap vehicle for that price, I used to feel same about it when I owned it at 6.5 mil, that it is not adequate for that price even. No sunroof, hard drive were two major turnoffs for Fortuner.

@@awaisch511 yes totally agreed that it is a hard core offroad vehicle, I took it to the worst of tracks (Lalazar, deosai, saifulmalook, and many more places. However, driving a vehicle at that price point and offroading in it you feel you have invested tooo much, bcs it is prone to scratches dents, etc on off-roading. And if you keep it city drive only, it has no driving pleasure at allll...so only benifit is it looks and nothing more. So a 9.2 mil vehicle in city vs a 5.5 mil vehicle with more features I believe Sportage is a more saner decision.

He is comparing with Civic or Corolla because of price. At the time he bought civic was priced 40+ & this was only 5-6 lacs more as stated in the start. He also compared it with Vitara and said that Vitara is only superior to sportage in terms of Airbags only. Features, Build quality wise SPORTAGE is better than Vitara.

Right now this car is being sold 4 lac rupees less then its reciept price at kia motors clifton karachi as dollar has decreased and kia motors are great enough to sell the car at lower price rather than giving foolish offers as honda and toyota are giving
