Its less about underage driving its more about experience. Im an underage driver myself im 17. My dad has given me the car since i was 8. He had a better reason behind it rather then me just being a spoiled brat who wanted to drive. Tbh i wasnt a sharp learner and till the time i was 12 i had been driving for 5 years continuously under my dads supervision. I still did not have any road sense and the main focus i had was my car. As i was growing up like turning 15 16 i started hanging out with my friends and started driving and taking my car out alone. All my friends drove under there drivers supervision and me being alone in the car all by myself. I would worry if id scratch the car or be a part of a major accident. My friends being ruthless drivers would be speeding constantly and me being afraid and just having a lttle bit of road sense id had to keep up with them. As time passed and i started driving alone in traffic with none of my friends being there and observing other drivers. My road sense built up. I gained more experience and till i turned 17, i learned everything i possibly could about pakistani road sense and about my cars and other cars. That in what types of situation what the car would react like and how i would react to take control of the machine. Its all easy for the future learners if they have good full option cars that have traction control and other types of assists. Theyd be just fine as the car would be telling them what to do and how to control it. However me daily driving a civic 95. It gave me the best teaching ever. Its the matter of time. And in pakistan u need to have the mental power to control your anger and just to save your car u need to save others rather then saving yourselves.
