Hummer EV uses NMC Nickel Cobalt Magnese Aluminium NCMA batteries by LG Chem which are more prone to fires and major recalls have been been by GM over the years of its availability. LG chem has lost race to LFP battery technology produced by CATL and BYD. It's not a wise decision to import a car of '22 year esp with this enormous 200+ KW/h size of potential hazardous battery lurking underneath.

The regulation to deal with this kind of EV fire is still in development, God forbid it catches fire in Pakistan, then all around it would be toast
