A lovely Gothic Venetian castle, you can tell it by the Moorish arches, which were a source of inspiration for this local style! What a gem, I hope they're going to do something with it in the future. Surely, there has to be demand for an unique domain like this located along the shoreline!

I try to imagine what it must have looked like in its day. No busy road in the front, all those other small houses probably wouldn't have been there. A wealthy land owner maybe. not sure about your title- palace abandoned ! Overgrown And Forgotten For Years..... It has been emptied by someone and looks clean, perhaps getting prepared for some other purpose. On the outside the palace looks pretty solid. Why were you spooked I wonder? Beautiful palace for sure.
