Ive heard this song many times but watching this for some reason makes me remember my great grandfather and it just makes me tear up and cry. Tears of both sadness and joy, which is out of character for me because i like to view myself as someone who can control my emotions very well. Everytime i think about him im reminded of how much of a loving and caring person he was to me and my brother. And along with that im reminded of how terrible i was at managing my time with people I cared about at the time. I wish I spent more time with him, I wish i had the opportunity to say goodbye. This song was introduced to me by one of my camp counselors at a summer camp I went to, and on my last year I was eligible. This summer camp i had been attending for the past 6 years and I had some of the most amazing memories attached to this place. So basically what im trying to say is, thank you. Thank you for listening to this song and sharing some of your insight on the song. While im not religious, this song seriously tugs on my heart strings. And the chorus feels like a question i'd ask him, though I know there'd be no reply. Also sorry for how this comment is structured and worded cause its kinda all over the place. Its kinda hard to write comments when im sobbing lol.
