Paladin Covenant - Deep Dive - How good is it really?

…You know how I said the Grim Wraiths seem to have a “build wide” thing going on? Scratch that, I think that’s going to apply to all barracks towers if this applies to Paladins too. I did not realize how cost-efficient all the barracks towers were damage-wise at low tiers, even if they pay for it by dying to a stiff breeze. I wonder if this was the case in the original 3 KR games too. (Okay, Origins undoubtedly, but OG Kingdom Rush as well)

the most consistent thing that i love with the paladins is that their purpose is to stall than do dmg with their high hp and lower dmg, abilities that increase armor, heal, etc. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . And then there's that one ability whose only purpose is to deal more dmg (Holy strike, lead by example)

Can flying gunners get Lead by Example buff?

4 months late but i think so. a comment on another vid said that rocket gunners + lead by example and empower can shred enemies.

I think cost is 70, and 65 is due to running 1 Linerian hero. With two Linerian heroes they would cost 60.. I wonder how that could impact ratings. Tbf Veznan heroes add damage that's of similar % afaik so that might average out? -x% cost is probably better than +x% damage (idk if it is base damage only or if affects all the towet damage sources), but being applied to the same strong towers rather than building more towers or getting gold for more upgrades.. How do you even figure out if one is better than another?

Inmost cases, id agree with you. However, in the grand scheme of things, the discount would maybe save u one t3 worth of gold, maybe acheap t4 even but the damage is giving way more value than one t4. That being said i usually go with one of each but ik mathematically 2 veznans guys are probably better

they might be better in kra than the palladins were in kr1
