Is it me or didnt you go over Ability scores? DEX/CON/INT/CHAR as everyones scores differently start im confused

Thanks for the awesome video. Appreciate the time you put into providing us all the details and thorough explanation of powers, etc. It helped me a lot as my tank is an alt character I've grown to really enjoy playing. Wizard is my main, and I'm enjoying some of what I perceive as crossover (mixed class) benefits offensive/defensive.

Great guide I'm using nearlly all this but instead of justicar i use oathkeeper so i dont lose 10% damage w justicar path and have a nice alternative for baneful strikes called battle focus which increases divinity regen when dealing damage.

@@Aragon- only real different is relentless avenger but in my oppinion the extra 10% dmg is definetly worth it to play oathkeeper but its your choice :-)

This is almost identical to my PvE/Campaign Grind Paladin build. One thing I would suggest is ignoring Xuna and just going with an Abyssal Chicken. Try getting CA on something like Bel with Xuna summoned... it's an exercise in futility as she always wants to stand to the side of your enemy rather than behind them. The chicken is far more likely to stay where it started, allowing you to spend less time repositioning. Since the Pally can't do quick dodge/shifts to change position this saves a lot of wasted DPS. (Running "Warlord's" insignia bonuses and the "Lliira's Bell of Empowerment" on your belt, and the chicken will kill half the mobs for you and take great big lumps off Boss HP bars...) Also, (and this may be purely anecdotal and not supported by the mechanics... but...) I find that the Lightning Enchant seems to trigger "Baneful Strikes" more often than the others. For some Boss fights I lead with Smite slotted instead of Burning Light, because of the charging time and the fact that the stun doesn't work on half the bosses, Relentless Avenger to close, and Bane for it's Baney-ness. Using Smite, as you suggest, only when you have full Divinity. Since the new "Brutal Fiend" rings, I try to avoid Burning Light as it eats up too much of that initial Power gain. Against mobs it's not really noticeable, but it helps on bosses to grab as much as you can from that first boost. (Especially if using the Demon Lord artifact set.)

For my solo builds, I use all ARP gear on xuna to max her damage, and cap my stats by sacrificing some power (swapping radiants for triple stat enchants, etc). It seems to provide me with more damage overall

Hmm, I just generally like to 1 shot most mobs with bane, and then Xuna basically just helps clean up, xD

@@Aragon- true, but with a good build you should be able to one shot most mobs even with less power. And buffing xuna is a huge asset in longer fights like bosses. I'm midgame trash with R8s and stuff, and even I managed to solo most of the older epic dungeons with my pally build :3

I find the gap closer at will is super buggy... i always have to use it like 2-3 times because i rubberband a couple times. Do u have this issue?

If you are a certain distance away and your target is moving, then yes. I also experience that rubberbanding

I recommend the Book of File darkness set of you still want a set for damage dealing, I've just never bothered to get the set, just made AS by selling any I got. The remote set is about 4% damage bonus, depending on what mobs your against

oof, knew I missed something, Dex and Int would be best for pure damage. Our attacks are magical. However Cha works well instead of Int if you need stats, and recharge speed is nice.

I really like this game and SOLO build. I am a fairly new player. Is there a poor man's version? (I do not have Xuna) And I won't be anywhere near 90,000+ in all skills for a while. I will make it to The Redeemed Citadel this week before my weekly haul is full. (Yeah!) I plan on camping out there. I have a guild but would like someone to help me farm FAVORS when the time comes. As a paladin trying to deal as much damage as possible, you want just use the skills I do, and then just get high item level gear, the legion guard weapon set for starters, and make sure to farm the master expeditions after completing under mountain to get companion gear.
