Prot paladin here, the changes from AP to SP is very bad for the reason that most of the scaling for prot paladin is in AP only real scaling is in exo and personally that’s a playstyle I want to move away from. Additionally the other scalings are just bad like consecration you need 24 spell power to get 1 more damage per tick. And holy shield is 5%

In addition it makes build variety worse because you get more incentive going consecration in stead of taking vindication. In general it makes it so you want to spec holy tank or ret tank. But not prot tank unless the fight really needs mitigation.

the developers don't know what they're doing anymore as a game, they make useless modifications to classes, they don't understand the class at all, I canceled my subscription, I have 20 more days of play, I don't expect much in that time but if this is still a mess I'll start playing on turtle wow that apparently the Devs know what they are doing....

At this point for exo spam i kinda wish they would give paladins duel wield....

Ohhh I would love that too! There was a p.. server, where Paladins were able to dual wield and it was the most fun experience i ever had playing the class!

well.. at least we can enjoy a little what it would be like to be a dps in classic as a Retr paladin.. it was good while it lasted kids.. now if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy a dress to start healing...

Why want they just punch up the SP scaling so its better than running AP, starting to feel like a freaking warrior lately

Yes sp scaling instead of ap scaling is a complete mess unless they change the sp coefficient of conc. I guess for tanking you will either specc into all 3 trees to get conc and vindication + crit or play ret tank or if bosses hit really hard single target prot-ret without conc. And of course still sheat of light rune :)

there is no real ret support from librams as much as I saw. Only 50% less Consecration mana cost.

Schade! Ich habe gehoft sie würden den Ret Paladin endlich einmal vernüftig buffen so das er mit den anderen DD´s mmithalten kann. Blizzard haben ihr versprechen das sie auf der Con gaben zum Paladin nicht eingehalten.

Thanks for the info man. I am leveling a SOD ret paladin for pvp at 60 so it's nice to have a channel that gives updates like this.
