This is more of a simulation project than an actual game. It’s obviously playable, but it’s an ongoing creation reliant on current research.

Sad to say that the developers are under new management after finding out one of the copresidents of the company had stolen ~75K USD over the span of the game's development. It's still being worked on but it was a big setback for them.

Dear god. No wonder development has been slow. We probably won't get as much as we were promised. I had a feeling someone was stealing based on how slow development was. When animal games go slow that's always the reason. I suspected since before its release this would happen because it's so common in animal games.

Yeah, as much as I love the concept of this game and the attention to detail, it is demanding on a computer. Mine could barely play it, IIRC I had to tinker with the settings a bit to make it run more smoothly.

Ehhh no offense but I see this game going absolutely no where they have shown barely any improvement in a few years so yeah this has lost hype so I’ve moved on to stuff like pk cus at least they show inprovement

As someone who followed this project for a while, I don't understand this mentality, I never regret about the amount of time, passion and money I spent on Saurian, especially with the progress being outlined on their devlogs. I feel like games in general probably take forever to make, especially with a small dev team and being an AI-focused simulator (people forget that this isn't The Isle where less effort is required due to The Isle being a multiplayer and a more fantasy-like setting). People act like no progress has been made in years, I think people are just being impatient, especially when people whined and moaned about when they showed that they are reworking on plants in their devlogs (which does show the progress they're making), even though reworking on plants is gonna help with game optimization to begin with (aka. Helping the game itself), so I don't understand what those idiots want if they're whining about something that will improve the game to begin with.

@@o-o2399 Because as explained on their Discord server, it's all hands on deck right now for bug-fixing in preparation for the public test branch and subsequently the next patch that follows it, as there's not really anything to be left in the dark in regards to the content of the Trike update that hasn't already been mentioned in devlogs .
