This is just one blurb from the Bloomberg article: “Moore, O’Callaghan and other officials are nonetheless the first to admit that their AI systems have a very long way to go and don’t trump human decision-making. Algorithms honed on desert conditions in the Middle East-for obvious reasons, the source of much of the American military’s real-life data-are far worse at identifying objects elsewhere. Overall, O’Callaghan says, the 18th’s human analysts get it right 84% of the time; for Maven, it’s about 60%. Sometimes the system confuses a truck with a tree or ravine. Tanks are generally the easiest to spot, but with objects such as anti-aircraft artillery, or when snow or other conditions make images harder to parse, the accuracy rate can fall below 30%. In Moore’s view, “the benefit that you get from algorithms is speed,” with recent exercises showing that AI isn’t yet ready to recommend the order of an attack or the best weapon to use.” Sounds like a typical “shitty” piece of DoD software to me. It’s not a competitive open market, so Palantir’s software can easily be “second rate” and yet still look “compelling” when you put it next to that ABSOLUTE TRASH their competitors are peddling.

Every time some slick CEO says AI it’s deliberate attempt to artificially pump up stock price. Now few of y’all don’t know a thing on Karp and the origins of his ‘revolutionary’ ideology, which is, by the way, distinctly anti-American. Just a handful of years ago, Karp was a quiet academic who preached a bizarre esoteric-Freudian-overly-psychoanalytical-Trotskyism and a utopian one world government. Karp’s giddiness borders on psychopathic narcissism. The ‘Apple of Karp’s Eye’ is Jerusalem or Tel Aviv where he can build his ivory tower and rule over the rest of us minions through AI powered by Karp’s trademarked and highly manipulative psychoanalytical theory. Karp wants to AI to integrate with human consciousness and his complex algorithms psychoanalytic models will know each of your thoughts before you think them. Would you like Karp to be tapping into the subconscious and dictating both thought and action. Karp is energized by the revolutionary spirit of Trotskyism. Palantir is the most powerful company in the world, and Karp is the most powerful man in the world. He is confident because he knows it. And the rest of the world will soon know it as well. Karp will make sure of it.
