I'm very impressed with Palantir's recent execution. Their 2Q 2024 results reflect a strong acceleration in sales and material profit improvement. What's driving this strength? The AI REVOLUTION. The challenge investors face is balancing strong fundamentals with an elevated valuation. Personally, I think investors can find better set-ups and just earlier today I bought stock in a company with similar growth, but only trading at ~15x FCF. A drop in interest rates will affect their bottom line as well. 35% of their Q2 net income was generated by interest on their cash pile. I know they've made plans in the past for buybacks, so they could still use that cash to benefit investors, but I think it's important to realize what a big part interest plays in profits.

According to Comparably, Plalantir has a Net Promoter Score of 35, with 54% Promoters, 27% Passives, and 19% Detractors, and ranks #69 in tech brands. Any thoughts on why that is, as the CEO, customer testimonials and financial results suggest it should be better? Like, could the numbers be inaccurate, out of date, or likely to improve? Might the detractors have rotten IT systems that can't provide the data that Palantir's software needs? Or what?

Selling puts is the best way to accumulate shares I've found. Get paid for buying shares at the price you want to buy it at. I bought shares at 24 two days before earnings and received a nice $207 premium and today, I wrote calls on them to earn another $316 and the call strike price is $30 so if they are called away, I'll make another $6 per share for a nice profit of $3000. Total profit would be $3523.

Great question. First I don't "recommend" anything. That said, why didn't I buy shares at $8? Unfortunately, I make plenty of mistakes! That said, I didn't foresee their massive success with AIP (which they introduced in 2023) and their recent execution has been incredible.

Let's face it, stock dropped to 5.84 in last market selloff, in that environment pltr was still expensive compare to say META when it dropped to 80s. If market didn't bottom there , stock could easily be a penny stock and do reverse splits now. It's risky to buy such stocks If we remotely have possibility of another market crash
