More smiles this morning, Fantastis! I could smell in my imagination the eucalyptus, lavender and "sandalwood." Your joy and sharing is so good. God bless and keep you.

You had beautiful scenery today! Wanted to tell that because you mentioned the movie The Way, we rented and watched it. It was cool to recognize places that you had showed us already. Buen Camino

When you get to Santiago, there’s a place called Pilgrim House. It’s a great place to talk to other pilgrims, sit in a quiet spot and reflect on your experiences. If you need help they will what they can. We left our backpacks there so we could explore Santiago without them while waiting for our home to become available. They are closed on Wednesday and Sunday.

Whenever I smell eucalyptus now, it always reminds me of the Camino. And like Lady Reck, I was fascinated on the Camino every time I smelled it! I am so glad you are going to walk to Finisterre. We wanted to do it so badly, but we had limited time (and booked flights) and had to return to South Africa. Really looking forward to your videos on this!

Brilliant decision to walk to Fin.. I took a bus cuz my body was worn out, so I still got to see it but I so regretted not walking. Some of my Camino buds walked and they loved the quiet of it . Well done ! Buen Camino!

I find this one of the hardest days on the Camino. 5 river valleys and steepest 2 in the second half after Melide. Well done to the Recks❤. 2 days to SdC!

Love the energy and the vibe in the videos! Totally agree with you about the food at Pasta in Palas de Rei - we ate there the same evening! The brownie and ice cream were so good!

I’ve had 5 blisters, lost 2 toe nails, and 3 giant deep cracks. Lady Reck has had one blister. We both wore Brooks Cascade 16

Hello. Don't forget go to Muxia from Finisterre to see the Church of Virgin María close by to the see. Also in the way you can expend the night in Lugar the Lires, in the Hostal As Eiras. Amazing walk from Finisterre. After that you can heading to Muxia from Lires for a beatiful path. You will enjoy it. After that you can come back in a bus to Santiago de Compostela. Buen Camino

Yeah I love that with the eucalyptus tree smell, it’s been a contentious issue in Spain regarding them, in many places over Spain they are cut down and kept away from towns, villages as during the hotter months the bark strips are literally tinder strips and light up a whole forest in hours, especially with them being oil based. It’s a shame such a lovely tree causes such issues, they have lost multiple villages over the years due to them, some Spanish islands try to wipe them out.
