Palau Snapper Spawning -2023

We did 5 dives locally with Sam's, then spent the next 7 days aboard the Siren where we were able to witness one of the snapper spawning events. The amount of fish seemed endless and even brought in a bull shark - my first! This was our first time seeing the leopard shark and bumphead parrotfish as well! The reefs were just incredible, and seemingly very well cared for. We never came across any fishing gear or debris. Our last day we spent kayaking & snorkeling on a fantastic tour where we explored some of the bunkers the Japanese had set up during the war, kayaked around some of the rock islands, and even snorkeled in a "secret" jelly fish lake which we had all to ourselves.
