I've heard the original Depeche Mode version of this song. Remington has a way of covering songs, but not making it sound like a cover. His unique sound brings a different take on a song every former goth kid knows. Amazing cover. 👏 🖤

In 1986 I had my own personal black celebration, to this day I have this original absolute masterpiece recorded 13 times between vinyl, cd and DVD. Moves my soul in everyway. A few years back my youngest showed me a boy band, Palaye Royale. My then 14 year old miss loved Remington. It's just about 2024 and here I am, ALL on my own still stripped down to my bone at 59 years of age to this quite brilliant re interpretation.

I never new about this song, neither it was by Depeche Mode. I heard the cover for the first time and i felt something that i couldn’t imagine to feel. The the original was a total boom. Both has the thing that touches you. I love both. One is more prívate, more dark, the other is more sensual, more sentimental, although both are sentimental, but this one had my heart first. Good job Palaye Royale. By the way, damn, the lyric is sooooo good, awsome.
