Glad he acknowledges privilege they had by then. It’s not easy, but if you’re already doing what YOU truly want to do and can somehow get by, you’re living a happier life than most of the people. If it’s truly your calling, you’ll eventually prosper and all that struggle will be worth it. We have to work our 9-5 and do our passion project on the side still. It inevitably leaves you with no time for anything else other than work. For the goal it is worth it.

Yuh! It’s all about doing what you love… fame and fortune should never be the drive. I must say that I admire people who just stay on course for their passion and don’t drop everything just to sustain themselves financially. Of course u gotta have some talent and know you’re on the right path

Bro, being a musician is NOT A JOB, IT'S YOUR CALLING, YOU WERE BORN TO BE A ROCKSTAR. having a job is very different from fulfilling one's dream. IMO

This is why i never cared to be famous or well known. As long as im making music im happy. If my music does get popular, ill just ghost write or produce behind the scenes. I do not want at all the BS that comes with being easily recognized. You do not have to be famous to be successful in music and if youre doing it for fame it will be your biggest downfall. Do it for love.
