The vocalist does apparently check up on him pretty often to see how he’s doing, too, which is cool.

This is a direct quote from the guy himself: hey let's talk about the intro to Fear and Dagger by Paleface for a sec for those who are unaware, I was on that track, and it was a real psychotic episode I was having. i was convinced the things happening in front of me were real and what I was seeing was my mother being gutted in front of me those screams are real, very fucking real and that intro was my attempt at spreading awareness for my disorder (schizoaffective disorder, I usually refer to it as schizophrenia so people don't get as confused) and I think a lot of people understand it a little better. I've made a lot of friends through this intro. But I need to get this off my chest. that intro contains audio to the most painful, terrifying and darkest moment in my life. Do I regret sending it to them to use? Absolutely not. But Jesus Christ if I could go back and not have that hallucination/delusion I'd be a much happier person. I want you all to know that even though that Paleface are some of the most respectable, genuinely kind loving people I have ever met. Zelli and I keep in contact. He asks how I am doing often. I know their lyrics aren't great and he laughs a lot but for them to allow me to show the world what kind of things I went through is fucking amazing of them. Im going through a lot right now. my mind is crumbling every day and I'm sinking deeper into a hole I can't seem to get out of. And frankly support is needed. I'm safe. I'm not a threat to anything including myself. I am just very low. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

that Intro Kills me every time I can't listen to it very often and I need to be in a good place mentally. it breaks my heart when he cries for his parents. I work with people with schizophrenia and I love that the band is bringing awareness to this topic. it's not a rare disease. its real and mental health problems can affect every person. So Yeah I Love it and I hate it at the same time. But Paleface ist my favorite Band at the moment!!

I just got a pair of really good headphones and WOW made the album hit so much heavier now that everything is crisp. Since the hospital banned my speakers from the ward..Wow this album is fucking TIGHT.
