Lol, my nickname comes from a misspelled "cosinus", it was my nickname in school because it sounds very similar to my last name and I was a nerd. Happy to see the channel grow, gotta watch all the chords and coffee that I've missed :)

Fun fact: A piano player can add all the extensions (9,11,13) on a 7 chord (using two hands of course)... and your actually playing ALL the notes from the scale at once. Also on guitar: I think if you play any maj triad on 3 strings... the very next triad up those strings equals the 9, 11, & 13 extensions of that first triad. I think that's correct. haha

Yes sir! The triad a whole step up will give you 9, #11, 13 (as it relates to the original triad). It’s kind of a cool thing to do at the end of the song. For instance: The song ends on a Gmaj7, you can play an A major triad as kind of a Lydian Steely Dan-ish lick. 🎸👍
