Palenque jungle tours with Gabriel - Maya musings

Our tour guide Gabriel leads us through the jungle at Palenque to an opening that descends precariously into a chamber where we stop for a respite from the heat. He talks about the Maya here and concludes that the Maya never disappeared, but are very much alive and well throughout the former Maya realm.
I'm working on the English subtitles but he does speak English, just that here we all spoke Spanish, which I suggest you learn if you plan on visiting Mexico. At least the basics.
