Since I see some of the comments and feedback are steering into a certain side, let me clear this out: the track is NOT about a 'neolithic revolution' and the birth of agriculture. It's simply about the miracle of plants and their importance in our ancestors' (and our) lives . I assume what made the association readily available is the word "Agros" which just means 'fertile soil', i.e. land upon which things can grow, coupled with the imagery (by the way, you don't see any meddling of human hands in the video, it all goes by itself, thus the cycle repeats throughout the song in a loop). Another point: prehistoric man was not just hunter, nor just gatherer, but someone who was interested in how things in Nature work, and wanted to get the best out of it. So naturally, he did the math and realized that he did not have to go miles into the uncharted territory to find food - he could simply transfer the food producing plants nearer to his dwelling. The fact that we had plant-growing oriented societies in prehistory didn't mean that they were (or became) automatically some plow-obsessed, agricultural civilization with mass-scale, straw-hat-wearing-peasants digging up acres of land. You can grow plants for yourself and not having to convert it into a global industry. Agriculture the way modern world knows it, was a controlled product invented / implemented AFTER the idea of a wide-scale civilization was born - because if you are a greed-power obsessed conqueror who nees control over a massive population, you need the means to keep them busy, productive, not hungry, angry. It wasn't the other way around, because you can't have an organized land farming without previously organized society. We need to outgrow the linear mainstream history and wikipedia articles.

Makes a lot of sense actually. I also read somewhere that psychologically, we find great joy in working with the soil, having our hands in the dirt and gardening. Its something that's buried deep in our psyche (no pun intended), in essence, something we were designed to do, and shows it predates any mass scale civilization.

Actually, Paleowolf's music had always been drawning great inspiration from the paleo/neolithic cultures of Lepenski Vir and Vinca (which were heavily into cultivating plants and had prominent vegetable-based diet), which was spread throughout Southern Europe - the lands where I'm from.

Perhaps it's because I was drawn to paleoages by something else than 'love' as a philosophical term, which is, for most people, not explicitly right there. It's clouded by struggle and search for meaning, bBut it definitely is implicit by default in many parts of my work reflecting the primal, tribal way of life.
