Paleowolf, you are a hero. Thank you so much for your continued effort and high-quality work. I am not being superlative or melodramatic when I call you a hero. For a living, I compose academic research articles specifically about Early Holocene humans' environmental knowledge, myth, and lore; indigenous ecological knowledge; Paleolithic anthropogenic environmental change; and the contraction of megafauna and amphibian distribution ranges during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition. And I spend hours each day writing at the library, where dark ambient provides the perfect soundscape for this kind of concentration. So, that said, imagine the intensity of my genuine ecstasy when I first discovered Paleowolf.

I'm very honored to hear that my music can provide a suitable background for intellectual work such as yours. And I'm also very glad that the area of your work is the era about which my sounds speak. So if you like it, then I guess I'm doing a good job :) Thank you for the nice words, they are motivating indeed.

Michael Capozzoli I've listened to it isochronic tones, binaural beats, affirmations, nature ambience, and folk music...yet his work psychologically nails me every time and takes me into another dimension. I hope this guy makes profit from this.

This is deeply impressive. wonderfully. My soul feels in the old, archaic time at home. With these would sound I have closed my eyes, and at night myself see sitting in a cave. With me burns a small fire which I have lighted, I look around, in the cave - in front the free nature, and I hear from wide all noises which I hear now in the video. Now I feel restored in the old time. Greetings from Germany :-)

@@dmp1520 In those days, people were deeply spiritual, so they thought there was a meaning with everything. Dying was not the terror it is today where many people see the world as fundamentally meaningless and mechanical. As an Atheist, I think I would rather die from a festering wound back then, thinking I would soon go to join my ancestors, than to die from cancer today, my death being completely insignificant.

*Part 4 of C2C prologue* The Hellenes had become accustomed to their new home quickly, learning of the local flora & fauna aswel as the landscape itself. One fortuitous morning, a familiar call was heard. Graecus immediately woke the hunters and demanded them to hunt this familiar beast down. A mammoth herd! Over the north hill, a herd of mammoths was grazing. The Hellenic hunters singled out the weakest one, bringing it down after separating it from the herd. One hunter, a fiery young man named Ares, tried to eat some of the mammoths Ivory. The other hunters scoffed at him, telling him nothing would come of it. After getting the mammoth meat to the cave, a great feast was prepared. This triumph would keep the Hellenes fed for days! But they were not the only ones who wanted a meal of mammoth. Charging from the woods, big "men" began attacking the fighting men. In your day, you call them 'Neanderthals,' but to the Hellenes, these "men" were not men at all, but the Troglodytes, strong cavedwellers with bones tougher than any man. Ares' vision went red, and he began clubbing, cutting, stabbing, brawling, killing, and terrifying the Troglodytes. Some, in a rare instance, began fleeing, but Ares would not let up, whooping, hollering, cackling, and boasting as he hunted every last Troglodyte down. After returning to the cave, Ares was hailed as a hero, and stated the Ivory will make you strong, Graecus saw fit to immortalize him, claiming he was a son of Zeus, and a god of war. That night, they burned the bodies of the Trogs, but Ares was looking to the mountains peak. Last anyone saw of him, he smiled confidently and disappeared into the night. Saying he'll always be there when the Hellenes are fighting their foes. Thunder became louder and louder that night, before abruptly stopping. In moments the Hellenes fight their foes, they call upon Ares to guide their strikes.

Yes, I've thought about making a voyage even deeper back in time, an album that will encompass a time between Permian-Triassic eras. I think it'd be interesting to have a collection of "time-travel" albums to different ages. :)
@LocustGirl7 жыл бұрын
Not to prolong a potentially inconvenient conversation, but that *would* be interesting. I can't even begin to imagine what a dinosaur would "sound like," given a contemporary or musical form of expression. I think they would be much more gritty, having a more visceral effect. I'm thinking didgeridoo and cymbals. There would be a lot of action happening there. 🐲
