The first episode of season 2 (and the only double episode in paleoworld)! For me, the calm and relaxing feel from season 1 (lots of paleo art, relaxing music, ben gazzaras narration) doesn't come across in this one (or every episode after this for that matter) but i still love it!

3:08 We now know Afrovenator was more closely related to Allosaurus, T-Rex was from a different family of large theropods known as Coelurosaurs, which included all other Tyrannosaurids and also the Dromaeosaurids, or "raptors".

True, PaleoWorld unfortunately did the typical "compare every new theropod dinosaur discovery with T. rex" comparison.

He did say it's "one of" not that it's the *only* place where it could happen.

I am thinking "Solo" might be interested in securing a few kg of Morroccan hashish in that vast array of equipment. I would.😊

22 minutes of old Land Rovers driving down roads. You can skip this Part 1 and go immediately to Part 2. Funny how instead of shipping the Rovers to Africa they drive through France and Spain, two party countries. Notice the Rovers have almost NO GAS CANS in an area with NO GAS.

That's not what spinosaurus looked like it was bigger and had an alligator-like skull not a derped T. rex/allosaurus skull that's just wrong.

that was how they thought it looked at the time from fragmented bones and drawings of the bones that were in Berlin Museum before it was bombed in WW2, now we know it was different

The show was very old. In addition, I believe the current understanding is that T.rex still retains the title of biggest carnivorous dinosaur,as Spinosaurus was just longer, but was not as strong, robust and heavy as T.rex.

1750 miles by 1750 miles is roughly 3 million square miles. It grows exponentially very fast. A simpler example is 20 by 20 miles is 400 square miles. Hope this helps.
