I want to say something that is not said enough; thank you to our African American brothers and sisters for establishing Islam in the States. Long before the massive waves of Arab and Asian immigrants to the States, African Americans were building mosques, running halal storefronts, spreading literature and making dawah, and working with and for the most disenfranchised people in the country. This history stretches all the way back to the first American Muslims; black African slaves. I really wish that the more recent Muslim immigrants to the U.S. would acknowledge and appreciate this history, and make more of an effort to engage with the urban African American masjids and communities. We owe them so much. They confronted bigotry, racism, religious discrimination and hatred with dignity and deen. May Allah reward all of them with a high station in jannah. Ameen.

As an Arab Muslim I want to say may Allah bless you shaykh and the main reason why Allah is not bring us victory is because we practice tribalism, also among Arabs. When Palestinian Muslims claim it is an country for Arabs it hurts my heart since it is waqf, for all Muslims around the world. The black Muslim practising brothers are more closer to my heart than Arab secular Nationalists. By the way, throughout the Islamic history, non-Arab Muslims protected Palestine from Crusades

Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah . Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful. [Surah Al-Mujādilah (58): 22] Wa fiki barakallah.

Where does the Quran say nationalism is Haram or Hadith? Nationalism as a concept didn't exist in the time of the prophet salallahu alayhi wa salaam.

@@markward3981 And it is related by Imaam al-Bukhaaree in his Saheeh (8/137), that a young man from the Muhaajirs and a young man from the Ansaar quarreled. So the Muhaajir said: "O Muhaajirs! (meaning: rally to my help)" And the Ansaaree said: "O Ansaar'" So the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam heard this and said: ''Is it with the call off jaahiliyyah that you are calling out, and I am present amongst you !"

The people looked askance at him, so he said to the people: I can see what you are thinking, and I can only say this: that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed us: “If you hear someone boasting in an ignorant manner of his tribal lineage, then tell him to bite his father’s male member, and do not use a metaphor.” Narrated by Ahmad (35/157); classed as hasan by the commentators on al-Musnad. It was narrated from Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man boasted of his tribal lineage, and Ubayy told him to bite his father’s male member, and they said: You were never given to obscene speech! He said: We were instructed to do that. Narrated by Ahmad (35/142); classed as hasan by the commentators on al-Musnad and as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami‘.

@@SalafiJustice Yes but this must be understood in context. Calling your tribe or people to support you in wrong was what was happening not simply calling your people by their ethnic or group name. Everyone is born in an ethnicity and/ or a nation. That is a reality.

Allah said: إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ Verily, the most noble of you to Allah is the most righteous of you. Surat al-Hujurat 49:13 Abu Nadrah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَلَا إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنَّ أَبَاكُمْ وَاحِدٌ أَلَا لَا فَضْلَ لِعَرَبِيٍّ عَلَى أَعْجَمِيٍّ وَلَا لِعَجَمِيٍّ عَلَى عَرَبِيٍّ وَلَا لِأَحْمَرَ عَلَى أَسْوَدَ وَلَا أَسْوَدَ عَلَى أَحْمَرَ إِلَّا بِالتَّقْوَى أَبَلَّغْتُ O people, your Lord is one and your father Adam is one. There is no favor of an Arab over a non Arab , nor a non Arab over an Arab, and neither white skin over black skin, nor black skin over white skin, except by righteousness. Have I not delivered the message?

"Oh mankind. Verily, We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into NATIONS and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily the best of you in the sight of Allah is the one that has the most Taqwaa" 49:13 He CLEARLY and UNAPOLIGETICALLY said he's a black nationalist that has 'FILTERS'. And those FILTERS were the Quran and Sunnah which dictate to us all how we're supposed to understand and deal with issues connected to nationalism. He cited proofs from Quran and Sunnah and due to these verses he said:- A. He loves Mecca, Medinah and Palestine and Palestinian Muslims over Africa and non-Muslims who are Africans. B. Islam is UPPER MOST and NOTHING is raised above Islam (Nationalism, culture, profession, sex, ppl's personal opinions). C. If his CLOSEST family members came against Islam / Muslims he would be on the side of Islam. He also warned the Muslims from listening to and following social media influencers who are give information that is in contradiction to the Quran and Sunnah as it relates this black nationalism.
