Palestinian ambassador says US-Turkish activist's death is 'really, really devastating'

Palestinian ambassador to the UK, Husam S. Zomlot has described the death of US-Turkish activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi as "really, really devastating".
Ms Eygi is understood to have been part of the Palestinian-led International Solidarity Movement. She died of her injuries after reportedly being shot by Israeli forces in the West Bank.
Mr Zomlot, who also criticised the US for not doing more, added: "Seeing people of moral high grounds of conscience like this 26-year-old American who comes to Palestine as a peace activist to help protect children from the wrath of Israeli settler terrorism gets shot. [It's] truly, truly devastating."

This is not the first time the IOF has killed a dual American citizen and the U.S has not condemned it. Rachel Cory, in 2003, was crushed by a bulldozer.Shireen Abu was shot in the back of the head as she was walking down a road. Tawfiq Hafez Ajaq was 17 when he was shot. Tawfiq and his friend were inside his car during a barbecue in Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiya when an Israeli settler drove by and began firing live ammunition, according to DCIP. While the settler chased Tawfiq by car, an Israeli military vehicle reportedly appeared from the opposite direction and fired at the teen. A 12 year old girl was killed inside her home yesterday in the W.Bank by Israeli settlers. There are many more incidents of this nature and not only Americans but British too.

Then explain the deaths of hundreds of aid workers and journalists that Israel is responsible for. Not only in Gaza but in Lebabon and the West Bank. Explain why Israeli aircraft killed over a hundred of civilians at the Nova festival. Explain why the IOF killed hostages being released by Hamas. Explain why Israeli troops killed Rachel Cory or Shereen Abu when they posed no threat. Why did Israeli settlers break into a family home in the W.Bank and shoot dead a 12 year old girl yesterday? Not about choosing it is about reporting on what is going on or helping out. That 12 year old was in her own home which is not in a war zone. She had no choice of whether she lived or died.
