If there are terrorist government at your doorstep, blowing themselves off as $uicide bombers, launching unprovoked rockets on civilians, kidnapping your people, trust me, you will also demand a blockade, if not worst. Israel left completely in 05, no occupation, no blockade, no settlements. The Palestinians made a choice, they elected Hamas, who then attacked, instead of redeveloping, they stole billions of dollars to build terrorist infrastructure, and nothing much for the civilians. Second, about occupation, Occupations have been a standard practice in international conflicts to ensure security and stability after war. Any country that wins a war occupies land until the threat is neutralized-look at how the Allies occupied Germany and Japan after WWII. Only when the threat was gone did they leave. So, its the Palestinians who can end it, not Israel. Last point, about Nakba. The Nakba was a self imposed wound, Wonder why they were expelled, because they engaged in a genocidal war against the nascent Jewish state.
