yes 5 years later but who does it hurt for me to comment. I do agree w/Laurie that initially, it played off that Michonne was being that gf who wants their friend to be Siamese twins & then gets jealous when their friend gets a bf. However, we learn that it was more than that, Michonne can read people, saying Michonne would have been unhappy anywhere is incredibly stupid considering she affirmatively chose to be w/Rick's group (and became his baby mama etc etc LOL.) Michonne's instinct told her Rick & crew were good people vs the Governor & his thugs. I don't think Andrea necessarily chose a man over Michonne, rather, she chose comfort over Michonne. And who wouldn't, except this was a woman who became her bff and was the reason she was alive. Leaving w/Michonne didn't mean she wouldn't have comfort elsewhere but Andrea wasn't willing to chance that and wanted it immediately. Imagine, Andrea could have been w/them at Alexandria had she either killed the governor after sexing him up like Carol told her, left w/ Rick & crew when he met w/the governor, or ignored Milton and shot the governor when she saw his torture dungeon. Andrea had so many opportunities & she blew them all and that's why she's dead.

I'm STILL salty Andrea got killed off and to be honest yes I still watch the show I'm just not a fanatic like a used to be. Andrea had such a bad rep however her sacrifice wasn't in vain. Nobody died but her and the woodbury survivors and prison survivors were able to coexist. So mission accomplished! Unfortunately she had to die in order for that to happen. R.i.p Andrea!

I think the writers just didn't like her. So they made sure she lost the little fans she had. It was personal. Andrea was the SHIT in the comics. She should've killed the Governor. But I still love her I ain't gone lie. I miss her dumb ass. Haha

Cordell Parker I hated the fact that Andrea got killed off. Along with Daryl and Michonne, she was my favorite character. Andrea was definitely flawed, but she was also tough as shit and had a lot more energy than Carol or Sasha (even though I love Sasha).

I think it was a way for them to add to Michonne's story, since they weren't going to make her hyper-sexualized like in the comics and have her have the relationships she had in them. Her friendship with Andrea put her story in a different direction and added to the narrative that their friendship was one of the reasons she no longer is a walker killing machine who walked around aimlessly. Andrea was the lead in to the Grimes and their involvement in her recovery. In the GN, Andrea and Michonne are not close, at all. Michonne is actually really close to Rick and has better relationship with Carl than Andrea has even though he calls her "mom." Him calling her mom makes no sense to me bc of the way their relationship is written. It's just random.

I think Kirkman was aiming for that but ended up chickening out. Rick ending up with Andrea was very random. Mainly bc of the fact that they barely talked before ending up together. And before we know it, Rick is saying that Andrea is his soulmate and best friend and all that ish. But at the same time Rick goes to Mihconne in the middle of the night to talk to her and tell her his worries but isn't as open to Andrea like that. Andrea/Rick's relationship in the GN isn't as well written as the Rick/Michonne's relationship in the show. Andrea was about to leave Rick when he wasn't actively doing anything to stop Negan. On the other hand, Michonne was mad that RIck wasn't doing anything but she still stood by him even when they disagreed. She wasn't packing her stuff and planning to leave like Andrea. Kirkman didn't make the relationship believable and when ppl say Rick/Andrea is better than Rick/Michonne I just side-eye them. Rick/Andrea are really overhyped imo. Simple as that.

The deal is that Mazzara didnt get along with Laurie (so the rumors says) and he actually tried to get rid of Andrea several times,there were so many Andrea haters (including myself) but because of the shitty script they gave her. Its a shame because i really miss her, i was hoping to ser the ass kicker character she is in the comic, but does not matter anymore. Thank you Mazzara

Mooshey Mooshey she got clingy on him. Idk if it’s confirmed or not but there’s a lot of shit going on bts. First Laurie, then Christian and now Danai. Laurie and Christian may sound like a rumour but both them seems to pretend they don’t know Andy anymore especially Christian. She said shit when he left and looks like she dislikes him. But Andy and Danai seems more legit, they both are closer and heard some things about them going on holidays alone together. I didn’t believe until a fan released a picture of Andy in Italy a year later. It was rumoured that both Andy and Danai were at Italy. Danai was spotted at a fashion event. Andy was apparently spotted in the area but no pictures until a fan released it a year later. Also Andy leaving Georgia after wrapping up to meet Danai in NYC. Which everyone already knew. But he didn’t go home until a week later with less baggages. Andy and Danai been spotted a lot of time and the fans who saw them were not allowed to say anything. Like I said I don’t know if it’s all a rumour or real. But Andy and Danai seems more legit than Laurie and Christian’s rumour

Ugh!!! Close to the whisperers. Danai's gettimg all the love. I like her to but Laurie she still be here! She put herself in this world thats why she's so into her character. No phone, no tv, no music. She lived the character. Kicking badass outside the show. Did some undercover work to stop some bad things. So maybe things happen for a reason. But i hate the loss. Im being selfish i guess. She has amazing talent on the screen.

Not because it’s a decision doesn’t mean it wasn’t a betrayal. Two things can be true at the same time, but Andrea was in denial. She betrayed her friend for comfortable bed and people like that will always die bloody.
