And not only that, but then they took some of his shit when they came back by and he was road kill at that point. But hey, what are you gonna do? lt's the apocalypse, you and your group have been through hell and back, you don't know who to trust, and you need supplies. And in that sense, it made sense...albeit in a terrible, fucked up way.

I love that moment because in retrospect, I'm disturbed to remember laughing at their leaving that guy behind, like, "Pssht! No chance, man!" I was totally in the characters' mentality of season 3 and didn't begrudge their decision at all. Now that we're in season 5, I feel like I'd give the guy one shot, but if he blew it, I'd blow him away in a heartbeat...but I'd give him that shot first. It's like Glenn said: "That's still who we are. It's gotta be." But dang, It's amazing to witness your own arc as a viewer of this show as well as those of the characters...

I have to admit that I was troubled by that scene as it just didn't seem to reflect on the particular characters involved. The guy was begging them for help and didn't seem particularly ambiguous or threatening in any way...they really let themselves down by ignoring his cries of despair.
