I was having trouble getting the floor pieces to slide under the bin because "something is in the way". I did what you said, just picked them up and put them back down a couple of times and it worked!! YAY!

I tried this until I wanted to scream. So I got restless and switched to another plot leaving the stone floors right where I was trying to slide them beneath the bin. (actually about one tiny grid square behind it) Came back to the plot and presto, slid right under. Great tutorial! Loved it and thank you so much! (PC)

@@GenkiColleen I have another question. Why do I not seem to be able to pick up the ramps with pavers on it unless the floor comes with it? This causes me all sort of conundrums.

@@qtbrniis It's all about how you place things (whether they're hooked together or not.) You should be able to pick up something that's on top of flooring (the ramps,) but the ramps need to be hooked together so when you select one, the all move at once. Does that make sense?

@@GenkiColleen Yes, it does. I'll have to watch more closely at how I'm picking it up. I've tried and tried but the floor I put down to put the pavers on the ramps keeps coming up with everything else. I've found a work-around but it takes longer & the results aren't as pleasing. Thank you again!

I spent a good few days banging my head against the wall and I finally got it to work, thing is I kinda gave up and used all the other furniture to build other stuff so now I gotta grind some more but I'm so happy I got it to work! Key is ya'll (other than own all lots), grab the left back one while facing the bin 10/10 I love the design can't wait for the servers to be up again so I can grind to make it look pretty cuz now I just have two random rock floors under my bin and a chest next to it lmao 🍓🌷

So I am following this step by step but for some reason, once I get the 4 ramp pieces put together, put them on the contraption thing, I no longer can alt+ select it as one piece, it picks up the whole contraption too, so now I can't take that piece off without taking part by part... what am I doing wrong??!!

The ramps need to be hooked together, so that when you pick up one, they are all picked up. No alt+select for this part!

Also, if you've already placed all of the wood pavers, it's OK -- you can still adjust the ramps to be hooked together if they're not already.

At first it worked with me and I made my shipping bin exactly the same but then I noticed something was placed incorrectly so I tried to make it right but since then it won’t allow me to place the paver in the middle… it gets red and says “something is in the way” how can I fix that? If you know please help me xD

Couldn't get the stone floor to slip under no matter how often I tried.. So i made one 2 wood floor.. build the shed on its edge to the side (for placement next to the bin) instead of putting a floor under the bin, and then alt selected the 2piece floor and shed and move it over. That worked too. :D

i dont think this works anymore. when i go to place the stone floor the second its out of bounds it says this is not a valid placement area :(

It still works; I did it last night, but it's super-fiddly! I had to pick up and re-place the floor pieces several times. In the end, it was selecting the (when facing the bin) back left piece that worked for me. If it says that it's out-of-bounds, then you have selected the wrong piece to pick them up. The piece you select has to stay in-bounds. That's why there are 4 pieces, and not just two. If you just can't do it, let me know your in-game name and I'll be happy to pop by your plot and help you!

How did you grow the flow tree's ?????? are there seeds for them ????? please let me know .

You need to finish the bundles in the cave near Badruu's farm, as you'll get special items! One will give you a nest that gives you a candy egg once per calendar day, another will give you the Kitsuu shrine, which will give you a present every in-game day, and the last will give you a little robot, which will give you a tree seed every calendar day. These seeds can be for flow trees, and once you grow them completely, you'll get more seeds!

Make sure the ramps are hooked together so that you pick up one, and all of them move together.

It does, but I forgot to mention that you MUST own all of the land before you can build out-of-bounds. If you do own it all, try sliding under just two at a time instead of all four, and see if that works. If it doesn't, let me know, and I'll come over and try to help.

I've been trying to get the stone slabs to work for 2 days lol. Nothing I do has worked. I get them to almost go under it, but its not in the same spot you got it at all. 🥲 any tips? I've tried picking them up, putting them in different order, picking it up where you said to pick them up.
