Unfortunately another perfect storm just like our Marshall Fire in Colorado just over three years ago. 100+ mph winds, drought and human caused. Burned nearly 1,100 homes in the suburbs in just hours. People said it couldn't happen again. Then less than two years later Maui happened.
@here2watch0816 күн бұрын
Yes you are wrong for saying this. I've lived in California over 30 years, almost my whole life. Wildfires have always been a problem and they have only gotten worse with climate change/global warming. That and the state of employment these days- we do not have enough people clearing the forests and wooded or brushy areas during the year (not enough are hired because the state budget doesn't allow for it which is bs, and it is not a high paying job so it's not like a lot of people can afford to do it or have the time to do it along with another job) so everywhere is basically kindling ripe for starting a fire. It gets very hot here, every year hotter and hotter. When I was growing up it was shocking if the temp was 105 during summer, now we get several days of 115 degrees! Aside from that it has always been extremely windy in many areas which starts a lot of the fires, including this one. This has nothing to do with the government, that is complete nonsense!
