Last I checked it was Lou that always did vocals and wrote all of the songs, Brandon just played bass and did backing vocals (barely) the new Brandon is a better vocalist overall (yes I know his singing isn't as good but he can do more then just sing which shows a lot) and he is miles better at bass as well
