You backflip off of cliffs that most people wouldn't even drop into. Insanely awesome! Also, @2:08 is such a sick, tight drop-in!

My dad used to live out in Tahoe, he would tell me so many stories of him at squaw, like hucking the palisades and jumping cliffs. Too bad he had me and decided to move to New York.

I wanna say that's the rock at the bottom of Enchanted Forest off of KT. I think it's called Ice Princess or Ice Queen or something. I'll have to find my copy of squallywood to confirm though

"Squaw", now Palisades, is a smallish resort, without vert that often has poor conditions of wind and rain. A lot of jumps but no extended challenges.

I was skiing at a resort and the bike park terrain gets used a lot by the skiers in the winter. My pole poked through the snow and down through a slat in the boards that were used for a road gap jump. So I’m just about to leave the lip and my pole is stuck down into the space in the boards...not sure how, but it came out as I left the end of the ramp. So, I feel very lucky to not ruin my shoulder or worse. I’m not sure what is the right answer here. I like the straps, but the off chance you get that pole stuck is potentially catastrophic. Got any words of wisdom Owen??
