Got to the part about sneaking into the Howling and seeing nudity. Reminds me of the day my parents decided to give me the black and white TV for my room. My mom was turning the UHF dial to see what all we could pick up and it landed on channel 26. It was Zapped from 1982 playing and my mom landed right on the scene where Heather Thomas' top springs open. Mom let out an "UH OH!!! Let's see what else is on..." and changed the channel. After my folks finally left the room I of course turned it back to channel 26 and listened like a hawk for any sign of my parents walking by my room. I was probably 10 at the time.

I was told The Incredible Melting Man mask/makeup got them in licensing trouble. IIRC, it was Rick Baker that initiated the C&D. They also did a Close Encounters alien, which I have in the box. The box art itself was fantastic.
