Better than letting them rot away. Some of the vintage pieces that guy has in his shop are simply beautiful, and a long time ago someone who spent years on acquiring the necessary skills to make these items sat down and spent a considerable amount of time to make them, and that's why I think these items deserve better than letting them decay.

Great video, i worked in a power plant and found it interesting wondering around during lunch breaks you could walk about all day and not see another person and always somthing new to see.

I seen a building in Harlem that has Paladium painted on both sides of the place and seems to be original at least a century old but that would be around 1998 maybe it was Orpheum but I remember the Orpheum Deli being in the east village,,really cool channel....really coool !

@kika868686 I think you're misunderstanding what these companies do. They go into places that are going to be demolished, or if a company plans on selling off anything physical before demolition/renovation, the pay the company to take certain items. It wouldn't be something you can explore. If they didn't take those fixtures from JFK they would have been sold to someone else, or just thrown out. If anything they're prolonging the beauty of what they bring to their shop.

The thrill of this is the thrill of death. What good is life if you don't constantly risk death. I would have dived off that precipice into that river just to see if I would survive.
