@jackdaniels2657 Жыл бұрын
Tundras weight is in front of the axles chevy weight is over the axels. Thats why tundra has a better payload then chevy ford dodge the rear differential on a tundra is farther to the rear while the chevy is closer to the middle of the bed. If gm was smart they would move the rear axles farther back like how toyota did it. It woukd also increase payload cus now its distributing weight more evenly between front and rear axles
@Erik-kp1ux Жыл бұрын
@@jackdaniels2657 no your wrong. Look up payload capacities and you'll see the Chevy has about a 600lb advantage of payload. Also a couple inches difference on where the load is placed in the bed will make a huge difference. Also Toyota moving the axle farther back decreases the towing capacity due to less weight being evenly distributed over both axles. If your rear axle is too far back then your front end can't do it's job. Less control and manuverability. So if Toyota was smart they would copy Chevys truck design. Also it would be nice to test these trucks both brand new. Oh actually they do have these test and Chevy beats Toyota at all of them. Do your research.

Besides the weight being further back and poorly distributed, the Chevy has progressive leaf springs, making for better rides, which is what most people look for in a 1500.
