Thank you for this video! The biggest problem (for me) with using pallet lumber is the amount of time it takes to break them down into useful boards. This will help speed the process up. And save my aching back as well! :) Thank you!!!

Glad you got some value in it. I doubt it will last forever or is even as good as a proper metal one but it did the job I needed it to do.

Unless it's not a big loss for you to have the planks cracking open at the extremities, , I'd rather pull from the 2 middle studs first, just enough to release the planks a little, then do the rest as you did. I will be there watching all the way with you and your business growth.

Nice! But if you had made the middlebar of the fork and the long bar with the same wood, this would've been much easier and you wouldn't have to do the adjustments in 2:07 ro 2:40.

What kind of wood did you use for the ( forks ) ? I made one as soon as I saw your video, but used a pine 2x6x8 ft and broke the right fork after 5 pallets , but it did 5 pallets in 15 mins both sides . Took about an hour to make, with a nice smooth handle.

I made mine out of a single 2x4 and I broke a fork on the FIRST pallet! I made the fork shorter in front (Less length from the tip to the cutoff) and longer after the cutoff. In other words my forks cut off about an inch from the tip.

Not having a band saw, I had to put a large washer on the inside of each fork. works for me.
