For the sweet love of God, never take this down please. Pallow's a band I have a sweet spot for in my heart. I come to you guys in my worst and it always feels like a warm hug on a cold winter night. Words or numbers cannot explain how much of a work of art your music is. Thank you for your work to every single one of you. I truly hope you are all safe and being able to continue expressing yourself through music, even if it's on different roads. Much much love from Spain.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Alfonso! Pallow will always hold such a special spot in our heart. It was our first real band we've ever been in and loved getting to create this stuff together as young 20-something-year-olds. It's hard to explain how much it means to each of us to see that this band is still making an impact on people. We share some of the kind words with each other when we do get them. We deeply appreciate you for supporting us!!

i discovered this band shortly after one of the hardest points of my life and i can truly say it has changed me. there are few bands that make my hair raise due to the emotions i can relate to. especially without knowing the other was there, the raw and pure agony that it conveys i truly relate and understand. thank you for making your music

wow, thank you so much. i am very proud of this record and the music we made together as Pallow. I'll definitely share this with the others and let them know because it means a lot to hear. I'm glad our music has helped you in some way

that's so sweet of you to say! Josh is still writing (heavier) music under Malevich and Connor (me) is still playing under The Harvest Law, which just put out an album and going to put more out very soon! Hope you're doing okay!

you would never believe it, but your music had so much impact on russian slowcore/slowgaze scene. I am still trying to overcome your 2017th release and it's still so supreme work that it's hard not to take something from it.

Woah, this is the sweetest thing! I never even knew how much of an impact this band had, much less so far outside of the U.S. You made my week with this comment. I hope you are doing well!!

@@connormcfall I had a chance to listen the live recording today. It's really really good! Reminds me a bit of Hold Music band from UK. I'll check your album this weekend then. Our EP is practically done. Waiting for the photo film to be developed and scanned so we could choose the album cover from there. Probably on the next week I'll upload it on Bandcamp and other places. But I can send you a Dropbox link beforehand, if you are interested.

I’ve fallen in love with yalls music just in the last week. I’m extremely impressed by the sound you created in BFAEV. Your softer singing voice in the opening track immediately struck a chord with me. I myself make pretty shitty depressed acoustic/ and mediocre shoegaze music but I try and experiment with my vocals using more niche voices. But the only way to describe your voice is ethereal. Like a ghost. I fucking love it. You never want to not see a good band live but from what it seems you needed to lay this music to rest and I hope getting to do it live made it easier to heal. Im going to look into yalls other projects and support whatever y’all put out. I hope y’all find successful and happy lives on whatever paths you take!

I've been obsessed with Pallow since around the beginning of the year, so much so that Holding made my top song of the year on spotify lol. I miss this band, despite the fact I wasn't here at the time. Can't help but feel like its a missed opportunity that I didn't get to experience this. I randomly decided to *try* to find any sort of tabs for any Pallow songs, leading me here. Apologies for using your comment as an outlet for my thoughts! I enjoy The Harvest Law and Malevich and I'm digging and digging for something that Jason Combs MIGHT be doing. Ok part 2, Jason is a designer now! Not the outcome I assumed but still, good for him, he has interesting stuff!

Wow, thank you for such kind and heartwarming words. As I've been reading this and reliving this old, special moment, I'm so grateful this band and the impact it's still making on people. Honestly, both of your comments made me quite emotional in a very good way lol so thank you for that. You are exactly right about needing to lay this music to rest in order to heal from past wounds and grow into who we wanted to become. Of course, we all miss playing these songs, so much it hurts even, but having this night documented is a close second :') We are all living happy lives and to the fullest we can. Our first drummer, Ben, writes his own music under Gordan (which me and the drummer in this video, Blake, play in as well lol).- gordan.bandcamp.com. I write my own music now under The Harvest Law, which will most likely be a lifelong project or however long I decide to play music :) I also play in another band called Sylvia's Sun. Our guitarist on the right, Josh, plays in Malevich, which they've been HUSTLING with their music. Ben, Blake, and I all play in a screamo band called Slow Fire Pistol, which has been the most active band of all of these. We definitely all plan on doing this music thing for the rest of our lives until we can't, so hope this helps the search hehe all of them should be on spotify as well! Okay sorry for the novel, but just thank you. Hope you have been doing well during these times and continue to write music! It can dredge up a lot of things like Pallow did, but it can also be one of the most healing things in this world we have

@@hsswd Thank you so much :') and for sharing our other projects! It's hard to get people to care about your art sometimes, so this means the world. Almost all of us are still doing the music thing, but you're right, Jason just moved to Chicago for a new graphic design job with his partner and I'm so freaking happy for them. I wish he would write music again because being able to write with him was truly special. He views art, sound, and creation much differently from most anyone I've known. It definitely translates to his visual graphic design too!
