Thanks Ryan - much appreciated!! This was just a quick walk down to the waters edge but now that the weather is warming up, I'll be making lots more videos of the beach in the coming months. I might even get brave soon and put my GoPro under the water!! I'm looking forward to catching up on some of your fantastic videos this weekend. When my folks first moved to the Gold Coast they briefly lived in the Palm Beach Caravan Park...well that's gone now eh. Thanks for bringing back some some brief but fading memories.

One's recollection from the early 80's Palm Beach was fairly ghetto...it has certainly changed!!!

The whole of the Gold Coast has changed dramatically - there isn't much ghetto left anywhere as real estate is precious and old beach houses have mostly all been replaced or seriously renovated to now be beach mansions. Palm Beach is another example of this.
