Hi Steve and Anita, another great video with lots of happy memories, we also used to enjoy a coffee at the Beehive, and just across the road is a crooked pine tree, it looks to have grown but quite often used to sit on it crooked trunk just watching the world go by. Lot of the Hotels being updated now which was very much needed in most of the 3 Star Hotels were very dated. That's a fair walk Steve well done. Stayed at Agua Beach just by the Bee Hive last time we were there.

I’ve never been to palmanova what’s that hotel called where that pool is! (Where you spoke to that lady from Liverpool) and what hotel would you recommend I would like to be near the beach and some bars and shops do you think you could give me some ideas please many thanks Georgina and Dave (I’m just fed up of going to Benidorm year in year out) and palmanova looks lovely and quiet baring in mind it is morning time it looks peaceful and we also like dining out what do you recommend please

Hi Steve and Anita another cracking good walk round Palma Nova you will of got your steps in for sure . On a sad note we should be in Palma Nova this week but with the on going situation decided to cancel and book for next year with Jet2 at no cost for doing this .And instead of just the two of us there will be eight of us four adults and four children so should be fun . Yes hard decision its the PCR tests you have to under go .We have had both vaccinations and you still have to take the tests very frustrating and the varying costs of these tests especially the UK is making someone a lot of money .And to make matters worse the infection rate is increasing all over the country.

Stayed in the hotel Tropico, Palma Nova once, but being spoiled by my stays in Magaluf, that was a one-off. The nowadays called Sol Wave House hotel was kind of my second home for many holidays. In 1988 stayed there for the first time, when it was aparthotel Royal Magaluf. 2011 was the last time for me, one year before the hotel changed from Royal Beach to Sol Wave House. Actually, in 1987 the BBC Travel Guide Show about the south west of Majorca pointed Maga out as a 'lively resort'. It turned out a 'wise' decision for me to book a package holiday for the next summer over there. Ah well, those were the days...... Best regards from - again - rainy Holland

Magaluf is where my first holiday in Spain was many years back. For my 2 weeks there I loved all of it. This is where I was hoping to spend the rest of my life. A clean slate with a fresh brand new start. There's a special place for everyone and this is mine. There's no such thing as a bad place . Only bad people who just go on holiday to have there version of a wild out off control irresponsible antisocial holiday to ruin it for themselves and many others who don't want antisocial. They take from back home there famous out off control irresponsible antisocial behavior. That's not ever accepted . Because all that does is cause disturbance and being a right nusince. Giving themselves a very bad name and all who is with them. Antisocial don't know how to enjoy themselves without going way out off control. They spoil the holiday for themselves and all others in that same holiday resort. They cause disturbance and do exactly the same as they do back home . They have always without fail or doubt guarantee went way out of human being control . Giving the area where they live a very bad review and very bad name . There always like this and won't ever change . Unless they are serious about getting professional help to stop there wild out of control irresponsible antisocial behavior. I'm only a dreamer about living in Magaluf as I've never ever been one for any good luck . Many others work very hard to get a brilliant great life here and many holiday makers love coming here every year for a very good time holiday without antisocial. Majorca has beautiful islands . It's a different way of life and living. I can only dream about living here. You have to be in a very good we'll paid job with a very good bank account. This isn't the UK with Job Centers. Or you would have to win the very big Lotto A very nice beautiful place . What a way to live.

The antisocial behaviour you describe isn't the reality of living in Mallorca. It is confined to tiny pockets in specific places for a short period of time. People who live here, for the most part, avoid these places and only read about the behaviour in the local press. Admittedly, there are people who do live and work in those areas, and campaign to improve their situation. Not everyone who lives in Mallorca is wealthy. The average person earns a lot less than the average person in the UK. You can live well on a modest income. Having said that, Brexit has thrown a big spanner into the works for thos wanting to move from the UK. It's not impossible, just more difficult nd more expensive. We made the move 36 years ago and have not looked back. I had a job to go to, which was important. If you want to do the same, that's where I would suggest you start. Look at the skills that you have and see what jobs are available. I hope you are able ti realise your dreams.
