It's easy to pick on the ref. Especially in the lower leagues, it's hard to judge what tackle is actually malicious or just clumsiness. The real spoil of this game was the pitch. Jeez, you're better off playing pool on that surface.

First mistake was to not start Connor. Maybe he was injured? Other than that I think the opponent was just too physical and big. Not the best passing team but very effective on 1v1 and with their basic and simplified attacking tactics. They did have some useful basic 1v1 skills that bought them some room on the flanks etc. Maybe The Palmers also had little bit of big game jitters too. I think even when opponent was good defensively, Palmers have played much better what we saw now.
