I went to the Priestfield Stadium for the first time at the weekend. I sat in the Rainham End and, after watching this video and Gillingham not winning in the last six weeks, I wasn't expecting much with the atmosphere. However, the atmosphere in the first 15mins was terrific. Then, when The Gills went 1 up in the second half, the place was bouncing until full time.

Weird looking back at this game 5 years later. I was the goalkeeper for the Thames Athletic side, and this was last game I ever played in Essex, and the last proper game I played. (Injuries and other issues). I always remember this one save. Palmers FC wasn’t just a team for people to watch on KZbin, it was a chance for the people they played to make a name for themselves, have moments to remember and memories that they will go back on. I still show my friends and family this one save I made today as a “look what I could do” moment.

Americans are stupid, nearly every school plays football and have done so since the 60s or 70s. You'd think by now they would have a real grassroots league of at least 16-20 teams.
